R&D Team Information

Hi my name is Manny, and I have recently become a ridiculous huge Golf Addict, but to me it's not bad at all. My first found love was through Titleist. I have played some different balls from the DT Solo to the Pro V1. I truly cannot wait for the 913 D3 to arrive because i want it BAD! I honestly want to make a career in golf and make it a tradition and legacy in my future family. Being apart of Team Titleist would be an honor and if there was anyway I could be apart of the R&D team it would be even better. I can guarantee to give my honest unbiased opinion and those of others on every item. I've recently seen many individuals receiving Test balls and if one thing is for sure, I would love to be an additive. Thank you and feel free to add any comments or questions.                             Respectfully, Manny M.

Welcome to the Team!  We do use club testers, but we ask that they be local to our Carlsbad, CA area.

I don't know how close you are to Sandpiper GC in Santa Barbara, CA, but there will bea fitting day on Friday, the 19th from 10-2, one at Twin Lakes GC in Goleta (10-2) and Carlsbad GC(10-3), both of those are on Saturday, the 20th.  There will also be a fitting day at Camp Pendleton, Marine Memorial GC on October 27th and Rancho Vista in Palmdale on October 28th from 10-2.  They will all be fitting the 913 drivers and if you have an interest in attending, give the pro shop a call to make an appointment.  These fitting appointments are not an in-depth fitting, but will give you a good idea on what head and what type of shaft might work best for your swing.

If you are looking for an in-depth fitting, give us a call and we can find a recommended fitter in your area - 1-888-TITLEIST

Manny, Manny, Manny, sucking up to the R&D team won't get you any where. Just kidding, there is nothing ridiculous about being a huge golf addict. I have been addicted to golf for 48 or so years. When you get as old as me  trying to remember back that far is not easy. I have no idea how young you are but making a career in golf is not a bad idea as there are numerous ways this can be done. Good luck on which ever life's path you take, just have fun.

Hi Cathi, thank you for the reply.

I am fairly close and would be more than willing to drive to Carlsbad for any testing. I have seen some of the demo days with Titleist and found them extremely helpful. I was also wondering how I could go about being a representative for Titleist and working the demo days or any Titleist events. If theres anyway I can get more in depth with Team Titleist, I would definitely appreciate any help.

Thank you again, Respectfully, Manuel M.

Hi Chuck,  Unfortunately, it looks like you have deleted the post with all your ball testing info and we cannot recover it. :(  Can you repost it?

Hi Cathi,

I am a major junior golfer and was wondering about testing. I have loved golf since age four and my dad is the head professional at Fishers Island. My dad is on team titleist and recieves balls, gloves, hats, shirts, clubs, etc. I was wondering if you could send me anything at all and i will honestly tell you my opinion. I have a big intrest in hats, balls, and clubs. I will do anything to get something to test.

Hope to hear good news,

Sincerely Grayson Colvin

Hi Grayson,

We make every effort to include as many Team Titleist members as possible in these opportunities, but as you can imagine, we unfortunately are not able to include everyone in every test panel.

As for the selection process, all Team Titleist members are considered when we have opportunities like this but the final selection will vary depending on the test panel.

Also, the more you participate and the more engaged you are with Team Titleist, from posting in the discussions and adding blog comments to completing your profile, the better your chances are at potentially opening the doors to these Team Titleist opportunities.

Thanks again and have a great day.
