    Hello All,

So I finally made the switch to ProV1.  I've been playing other vendors for quite some time now, and I almost resisted to play the V1.  Until last week.  I went to a ball fitting process, and they gave me a couple of V1, V1x.. to play with.  Man the stopping power on the greens are unreal.  I know I know I know..  Heard it all before..  But until you put your own club face on that ball, you won't know..  Thanks Titleist for another great product..  By the way just stepped up and bought the 913 fwood.  Love that face.. Soo hot and the workability is sweet.

    Thanks Titleist.  A Lifer here.

    Great story Eddie!!

Love my ProV1x... Used to dabble in lower priced balls but once I put Vokeys in the bag it was a match made in heaven!

Ya I used to play the hex chrome, but once I tried the pro v1, there was no going back.

Great to hear you're happy with your new Pro V1! So which did model did you settle on, Pro V1 or Pro V1x?

I went back and forth between NXT Tour and swoosh Vapor ball all season long 2011, in 2012 I played NXT Tour only, until the end of the season last year I stepped up to V1x and like you, hooked for life!

I want to echoe an earlier response about the the 913D if you're loving the fairway wood, hit the driver and your eyes will open up wide and the fairway will become your playground!

Great switch.  Some people may be scared away from the ProV1 or ProV1x due to the price (if they had been playing a less expensive ball).  However, virtually everyone I speak with, once they try the ProV1 or ProV1x, they do not go back to their old ball.  The characteristic and playability of the ball is outstanding.

I'm also thinking of making the switch. I currently use bstone's e6 balls and have been looking for something different. I just need to go to a ball fitting as I'm not sure which ball would be best for me.

Congrats on finding a new and better ball though!

Congrats on the switch Eddie!  I have been using Titleist forever, but I love the action the Pro V1 gives me, the Pro V1x is a very close 2nd.  Occasionally I compare the other companies balls, but no matter what I try, for me the Pro V series gives me what I want to pay for.   Once in awhile someone will complain about the price, I show them what they can do around the green, tell them to invest in a ball retriever, and that usually keeps them quiet :)

    Best of luck!

There is other balls out there?? I had no idea .... LOL. Pro V1 / V1x are the only ball I have used for 10 years, consistent feel, spin, and distance. PLUS ... you can find them in nearly every pro shop even late in the season for those of us who don't stock pile dozens.
