I started playing with a new 2013 ProV1x this morning.  After a few holes I noticed a small crack in the cover that didn't appear to be made by a mishit.  I'd like to get this back to Titleist to take a look at it.  Could anyone let me know the address I should use?

    Thanks.

    Hi Guy,

Thanks for the post and sorry to hear about this experience. I've provided the address below and be sure to include a note describing the problem (including where you purchased) to the address below.

    Acushnet Company
    Attn: Consumer Ball Returns
    333 Bridge Street
    Fairhaven, MA 02719

Upon receiving the golf ball, the team will inspect and replace accordingly, should a manufacturer's defect be deemed present. Please keep in mind that any ball cut or scuffed due to contact with a tree, cart path, or any other object outside of "normal use" is not covered.

    Thanks again.

    Best,

    Mike

  3. I bought a box of pro v1 today, and went I opened up the sleeves to mark each ball I found that all sleeves had the number 77. I'm used to seeing each sleeve with a different number. Is this normal?

They must have been special ordered for someone who either didn't actually buy them, or you were given them by mistake!

Louis, check to make certain they are ProV1's.

Thanks for the quick response, Mike!  I thought he techs might want to take a look at it.

I still have the original box and sleeve.  Is there a code that the techs would want to see?

    Thanks, again!

Just had the same thing happen with a pro v1. Hit a 4 hybrid off the tee of a long par 3 and when I got to the green there was a small split in the cover. This was the last ball in the sleeve and the only shot hit with the ball. Bought the sleeve in the pro shop at chowan golf course in Edenton, NC.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the post and sorry to hear about this experience. Here is what you can do...

Send the golf ball to the address below and be sure to include a note describing the problem (including where you purchased) to:

    Acushnet Company
    Attn: Consumer Ball Returns
    333 Bridge Street
    Fairhaven, MA 02719

Upon receiving the golf ball, the team will inspect and replace accordingly, should a manufacturer's defect be deemed present. Please keep in mind that any ball cut or scuffed due to contact with a tree, cart path, or any other object outside of "normal use" is not covered.

Please keep in mind: The cover of the Pro V1 and Pro V1x features Urethane and the NXT Tour features a Fusablend cover. Both of Urethane and Fusablend are materials that transmit a softer sensation to the hands and provide more short game spin than Surlyn-covered golf ball models. For this reason we do not guarantee these models against cutting as we do our Surlyn-covered balls (e.g. DT So/Lo, all Pinnacle models, etc.).

Only in cases of manufacturing/production defects or cracked golf balls (i.e. cut through to core) will we review the Pro V1, Pro V1x, and NXT Tour models for potential replacement. If you live in the United States and feel your golf ball(s) meet this description, please follow the steps mentioned above.

Again, my apologies for any inconvenience.

    Best,

    Mike
