  1. I recently received a sleeve of your test golf balls and had the opportunity to evaluate them during two rounds of play. The ball seemed slightly lighter and softer than usual. This may have been my imagination!  My distance off the tee was relatively the same as when I use a ProV1. Iron shots were solid but appear to have a softer landing. Around the greens this ball was tremendous. I had much more control around the greens. My wedge shots landed softer with less release. Putting was great! ball came off the putter softer and had a true roll. My putting was great during both rounds.

  2. What ball did you test? 2014 pro V 1 or the pro Vx?

  3. No markings of type just said test on them. They were
    Black

is there a " new " test ball going around for 2014??

I'm looking at purchasing a box of white sleeved prov1x's because they are the best.

The 2014 cycle is the non-urethane (non-ProV lines) release.  The test balls could be NXT Tour, -S, Velocity, or DT-Solo - or maybe even a new line to replace one of the existing.  There are reports of red and black numerals with Test, and some yellow visibility balls.

Whatever the red numeral test ball is, it appears to be the NXT Tour only better.  Still, just guesses from the ranks as to it's true identity.

I recently received a sleeve of three golf ball for test.  I was to have received an email a couple of weeks later.  I have not received this email from you(Titleist R&D).

  8. I also tested black number 1. Found it longer off tee. Iron shots both from tee and fairway were very good very nice flight and very soft landing. Wedges around greens were brillant. Very crisp and soft landing. Drop and stop. Putting was a dream. Ball was better around that prov1x that I currently use. If it was available now would swap ASAP. Many thanks titliest.  Hope I may have been some help to you.
