Can someone tell me the principal differences? I use PV1x now, but am thinking of trying Velocity. Not overly long, but am always straight and like to play shots that run up to the green.

According to titleist, the velocity is designed with a fast lively core and cover to generate higher ball speeds. Also the cover is designed for decent short game feel. However the ProV1x is designed more for the softer short game feel, with maximum workability and distance. All in all, the ProV1x is built for an all around feeling, and the velocity is aimed at distance.
Hope this helps!

I switched to the Velocity. It's very straight and long. Also is half the price of the ProV1
