Hey Titleist I was wondering do you ever let team titlest members test out new pro-types golf balls. I think that would be cool and then give you are feed back about the golf balls.

    Hi Nathan,

    Thanks for the question.

All Team Titleist members are considered when we have opportunities to test prototype golf balls. We do our best to include as many Team Titleist members as possible but as you can imagine, we can't include everyone in every test panel.

We do plan on having more opportunities for Team Titleist members to conduct golf ball testing in the future and we always look forward to their feedback.

As for the selection process, it varies depending on the opportunity but most are random selections. Also, the more you participate and the more engaged you are with Team Titleist, from posting in the discussions and adding blog comments to completing your profile, the better your chances are at potentially opening the doors to these Team Titleist rewards.

    Hope this answers your question.

Hi. I received my email request for the prototype test survey. Unfortunately, I did not receive the entire email so I cannot get to the survey. Had a problem with my system as I had several emails around that time that did the same thing. Can you send me the link to take the survey. The prototype I received was a very good ball. Thank you.

No intentions of bragging but I was fortunate to receive, quite unexpectedly, 2 sleeves of prototype golf balls from Titleist. I'm sure if you search for Square and Circle Prototype golf ball threads, you'll find that there are a few guys out there that were also able to try these golf balls out. It was quite an experience trying something out before the general public. I'm sure one of these days you'll be considered for a test panel and given something as a TT member.

    Keep hitting them straight,

    Esteban,

What was your take on the golf balls you received? Personally I thought the "square" ones were a little better for my game.

    Scott,

I noticed a great increase in distance off the box with both golf balls and I do share the same sentiment with you as far as the square stamped balls are concerned. The only thing is I have a little bias in me because I played my best round ever and shot my lowest score ever with the circle ball shooting a smooth 67 at my home course. Both seemed very similar with the Circle ball taking, what I saw to be, a huge initial bounce be it from the fairway or green. Spin was lacking on the square ball just slightly but I tend to spin the ball a lot so the difference wasn't really too noticeable. overall, both balls (should they ever be named) won't have any trouble finding their way into my golf bag.

    Esteban,

Smooth 67, nice. I do agree that both balls will be played by me as well. Thanks for your reply. Hopefully Titleist will give us a heads up as to name and release date if their feedback is satisfactory.

  9. Odd, I received two sleeves of prototype golf balls in the mail today. Judging by the size of the box, I though I'd won a few sleeves of Pro V1's or something but was evidently selected to test these and give my feedback.

Don't know if it matters, but the balls are blank with the exception that one sleeve has a royal blue triangle on the ball and the other a royal blue square.

Well I'll do my best but since this is my "maiden voyage" when it comes to testing a golf ball, I'll give it my best shot (so to speak)!

I received a sleeve of test balls last fall after our Minnesota golf season ended, so I wasn't able to officially respond as part of the survey. However, I loved them, and wish I knew what they were!

I just got my two sleeves the a couple of days ago and I am very proud to help out with the testing. I am not a professional but I love to try out new items. I hope that I can give you the feedback that you need. I will be using the titleist golf ball comparison chart when I do so I dont have to try to remember how each felt. I will be trying them out tomorrow saturday. Looking forward to the process.

I received two sleeves of balls earlier this year.  Circles and Squares.  Squares fit my game the best.  I love the chances we get as Team Titleist members to test equipment.  Keep it coming and I will keep logging my opinions on the surveys...

I was selected to test the new pro V1's last year. The experience was amazing and I have been playing them ever since. Congrats to all those selected this time around!

I received two sleeves as well..But, living in Wilmington N.C. has not been conducive to playing because of the constant rain. I'm hoping to get out there this weekend.

Ty, I live in Wilmington as well and yes the rain did slow things up for a while!  My PType balls did not have circles or squares. It appeared to be a normal ball with a red number. Once again Titleist has come with a great golf ball! I hope you enjoyed both sleeves as well.

The best part is you get to try something there can't be any bias too. When u are the lucky recipient you get to play and review the next best ball in golf!
