I have a couple scrambles coming up these next few months and like to get a ball that I can bomb off of the tee with little spin.  Anyone have much luck with Velocity or NXT for distance?  My swing fits the ProV1X but play ProV1 a lot as well.  Swing is in the 115-120 range in the simulator.  When playing in scrambles in the past, I've played a lessor competitor ball and just try to bomb it without care if I lose it and then go down to like a ProV1 for my approach shots and putts.  Was just wondering if anyone had any help in this area?  I have never tried DTSolo, Velocity, or NXT lines so I wanted to see if anyone had some insight on this....

I do the same thing .... Play a Velocity from the tee and then switch to Pro V1 on approach shots.  I like the Velocity but it may only be 5 yards or so further.  My swing speed is only between 95 - 100 mph so you may get more out of it than I do.  The NXT Tour is also a good ball in my opinion ... performs very similar to the Pro V1.

So if I were you, I would try the Velocity .... less expensive and you may like it!  Good luck!

I just started using the Velocity ball this year, and I like it for my entire game
