    I got my test balls a couple of weeks ago and I play 3 to 4 times a week with my regular pro-v1. These balls were harder and spun more than the pro-v1. After the first few holes getting used to the feel, this ball and its reaction on hard greens are better for me. The first ball lasted 36 holes and the second one lasted 54. I was impressed with the durability, the spin and the control I developed with the harder ball. I also found it would cut the wind with very little effect on the ball.

    I tested the prototype for the Pro V1x (red numbers).  I also felt that the prototype was a tad harder and more durable.  Not certain about the spin, however, as I felt the current Pro-V1x spun a tad more than the prototype I tested.

    Glad to know that your impressions of the prototype was very similar to what I perceived and consistent with the feedback I just provided in the survey.

    I have used the prototype for two rounds and havent lost a ball!    I have never had better distance control or got up and down so often. 

    Love the ball flight and distance!

    Can I have a dozen!!!

    Hey Albert, I found the prototype to spin more on short shots and it flew extremely well into the wind. I have about 4-5 rounds with this ball so far and really like it. I normally play Pro V1x and have a 3.8 index. I'm 67 years old and need the extra distance as well. I was able to draw (spin) the ball back with shots under 100 yards without any problem. I agree with others that it appears to be more durable as well.

    Enjoyed the test balls. Longer distance all around. Cover seemed to hold up better. An overall winner. Hope we get to find out what ball we tested! Thanks, TEAM TITLEIST.
