This year I received a sleeve of very good golf balls from Titleist for their annual Research and Development surveys. I've done this in years past, and I always got an email about a few weeks later telling me where to report my findings/opinions of the mystery golf balls that they sent to me. This year I got the golf balls, and there was a little slip of paper inside the package stating that I would get an email in about two weeks time leading me to a web page where I could give my opinions, answer questions, about this golf ball. That was a few months ago, and I never received an email regarding the survey. Since Titleist was kind enough to send me the sleeve of golf balls (and I happened to REALLY like the model they sent this year), I was wondering if others out there also are folks who do the Titleist R+D stuff, and did they get an email telling them where to report their findings. Or is Titleist simply late this year in sending out info on where to offer one's opinions on the mystery golf balls that they sent out. So perhaps someone out there has some info, or perhaps the Titleist moderator will read this and look up my email that is associated with my user name and reply with the proper info.
  2. Yes, Titleist did follow up with an email survey. At the time, I was still biased toward the Pro V1 but as I continued to try and use the test ball, I think that I would favor it in windy conditions over the Pro V1.

What I'd like to know is what name the new ball is going to marketed under so I can buy and put it into use in those conditions.

I received some back in march of this year and also waited to see how and where I was supposed to give my feed back. I also seen other people talking about giving feed back but never got an e mail or any instructions on how to give feed back to Titleist. I was just thinking there are so many people and test sent out some times a few fall through the cracks. It was a blast actually testing and seeing the difference in equipment and I am very thankful I got the opportunity.

Jackie I couldnt agree with you more. Testing these golf balls was such an awsome opportunity and honor. Titleist is the number 1 ball in golf for a reason.

What markings did your ball have on them? The ones I tested looked like the Pro V1 but had the word "Test" wrote on them.  I am trying to figure out so that I can put that ball in play as soon as it comes out… Best ball I've ever played!

I received a sleeve of "test" balls, too.  The information inside stated that it was a "premium" test ball, so I assumed it was not a Pro V1 or Vx, which would be a "tour" ball.  The ball was very soft and a seemed to have more spin off the driver.  I did not particularly like it compared to the Pro V1x I usually use.

I received a sleeve of test balls also!!  Had a great feel to them and I scored well.  What ever they were, I'm enjoying existing Titleist balls and looking foreward to future ones!!!
