I am, shall we say, a more mature golfer. I have played about 14 years, beginning at age 43. I have worked hard to improve my game with lessons and practice, especially during the past three years. I finally brought my handicap down to an 11, shooting a couple of rounds in the 70s last year. This year, my game has been a bit more uneven. However, the last couple of weeks seems to have brought some consistency to my game, the culmination of which occurred this past Sunday afternoon. After paring our first hole, I striped the fairway on number 2 leaving a 152 yard approach. I hit my approach flush. My Titleist ProV1x hit the green, took a small hop and rolled to the left and dropped into the cup: my first eagle! To top it off, my final score was 79, my best of the year. While I have never made a hole in one, I can say I have had the great satisfaction of holing out an eagle with my Titleist ProV!
