I like the NXT, but in my experience, it is one of the least durable golf balls. A brand new ball landing in a fairway or on a green often results in multiple pock marks and looks like a worn ball. So much worse after playing out of a bunker. If it lasts for a full round, it looks trashed by the end. Has anyone else noticed this? The Pro V1 is so much more durable.

    Jeffrey,

I usually use the DT SoLo but I have assembled a dozen of the NXT Tour S in yellow through a senior group that I belong to.  A few weeks ago I tried the NXT, more to see how I like the yellow color than anything else.  What I found out is that I seemed to gain some extra yardage with my shots as well as liking the yellow.  I only played the one round with the NXT (as I'm trying to use up the 4 doz. SoLos that I have)  but found that it held up very well.  There are no marks on the cover and the color still looks as bright as when I took it out of the box.  Now, I realize that it was only the one round, and I'm 67 yrs old so I may not have the swing speed that you have, and I play the 2008 AP 1's so the grooves are probably worn down, so you can take this posting for what it's worth, but I will definitely continue to accumulate the NXT's until I use up the SoLo's.  Hopes this helps a bit.  Fairways and greens.

I have been using the NXT Tour S Optic Yellow for 2+ years and haven't seen any durability issues. If I hit it off a concrete cart path or the bunker has some bigger stones then I will see scuffing but besides that I haven't seen anything. I usually will get a couple of rounds out of a ball before I switch out unless I try to drown it or hit it into the pasture.

That's weird.  I've been playing the NXT Tour S almost exclusively (with the occasional ProV1) for several years and haven't found its durability to be an issue.  If a ball makes it the entire 18, it looks like like its been played 18 holes, but I'll use it again next round.

I have had zero durability issues with either the NXT Tour S or the ProV1x balls that I play.  Only marks are those miss guided cart paths. ;-)

I have two target greens on my property and hit quite a few balls. One thing I've noticed with the yellow NXT Tour S is the clear coat peels and negatively affects playability. Don't have the same issue with the white NXTs and bear in mind, those balls have been hit many times. Quite frankly, I was thinking I may have gotten some counterfeit balls as I'm a long time Titleist user (enjoyer) and have never had any issue whatsoever.
