    I tested the ProV1 balls I received in the mail recently. I started by comparing the Test ball to my current version ProV1 on the putting green. My first impression was the test ball seemed to have a slightly softer feel. On the course, I hit each ball with various types of shots and did not see a significant difference in performance. But that is good news for me. I am an avid ProV1 user and will continue to be. Bill A. Chicagoland

    Nice thoughts. I just switched back to prov1 after a few years of playing some other brands and love the current version and can't wait for the new one.

    I agree with Bill A.

    I did not notice any significant change in distance with any clubs except the short irons, I seemed to have picked up a couple yards with them. I already spin the ball quite a bit, and noticed no difference with that either.

    HOWEVER, putting was noticeably quieter and softer and to me that is a big plus.

    I have also played the Chromesoft and this rivals that with the putting feel. The Chromesoft feels softer with a driver and irons, which I personally do not care for. Distance is similar, so I am all in on the new Prototype.
