  1. Anyone else having issues with ProV 1 durability? It seems like my wedges tear up my ProV 1s. The ProV 1xs seem to hold up much better. /

Quit hitting it so hard & creating so much back spin. LOL

In all seriousness, I play the V1 and have had no issues so far. I played the about 25 holes the other day with the same ball.

Never. Prov 1's stand up real well. No issues with either the Prov1's or the Prov1x's.

I use prov1x, you can see after every shot (8-LW) there are marks on the ball and after 18 holes the ball goes straight in to the practice bag.
I can’t find a ball which feels like prov1x but has better durability.
Who can afford to change ball after every few holes apart from the tour pros.

I bought a sleeve of both, been to the practice pitching green, tried tried and tried to tear the covers with my wedges and just couldn't do it.

  8. I made the switch from the Pro V1x to the Pro V1 this year and have not had durability issues with either. Tried and true, the most durable ball in golf!
