I want to thank Team Titleist for sending out the Sample sleeves of the New Pro-V1 & Pro-V1x's so loyal Titleist users could experience first hand the difference between the two new balls. After playing a few rounds with these balls I'm starting to change my ball of preference. I been playing the Pro-V1 for years due to the way it seemed to feel a little softer and more controlling into the greens even though I knew it wasn't getting the best results for me off the tee. I have even gone as far as spending 2 hours using a trackman launch monitor to help verifiy my thoughts that the new Pro-V1x's work better for my swing both off the tee using the driver and into the greens using irons. The only regret I have is that I normally order six dozen balls at a time for the year with my name as the logo on them and I have four dozen of the old Pro-V1's left and I want to change now to the new Pro-V1x's.

I usually use the Pro V1 ball. Thanks for this...I'll look into the Pro V1x. That's too bad you have all of those extras.

I have been playing HX Hot Balls for the last three years( formerly played NXT) I would love to try the ProV1x if there are any samples left. If not, I might buy the $29 a dozen "Practice" or prior generation Pro V's that I have seen advertised at Dick's and some other online and bricks and mortar retailer.

Thanks and keep up the good work here! Nice site and great feedback.

I was wondering if you could send me a sleeve of balls so i can test them. This would be appreciated because i would like to see how they compare to 20xi-s!

I'd be happy to take the prov 1s off your hands.

  9. Jordan Speith prefers the pro v1x over the pro v1 whereas usually pros prefer the pro v1 but choosing a golf ball is all about how it plays for your own game.

a lot of the tour players game with the Prov1x, there soft but not extreme soft and they actually fly way better and in crosswind.

I am on Team Titleist and have never received anything. Been playing Titleist balls my entire life. When fist started I couldn't afford them since I was only around 13, so when I found one someone had lost it was a prized possession. Didn't dare use it on a "water" hole !! As I got good enough to play on high school and college teams I never used anything else.

My pro likes to tell the story I told him years ago when we were playing. I told him golf was a very simple game, because you only needed 2 things to play it well, and they both started and ended with a "T".  When he asked me what that was I told him "Talent" and a "Titleist". He still tells that story.

Sure hope Titleist gets me in their mailing list !!

Bill - the 2 ways to "score" some balls are to attend a Titleist ball fitting - keep checking with local courses to see if any schedule a ball fitting with a local rep, and to have a completed profile, even if not every club is Titleist. With a profile, you increase your chances of being part of the end ball testing, to compare to your current Titleist ball.
