    Hi Tate,

Here is a link to our authorized Titleist retailers: http://www.titleist.com/find-a-golf-shop/ and some information on fake clubs. http://www.titleist.com/customer-service/faqs/106/Counterfeit%20Products.aspx

If your shop is on the list of authorized retailers, please have them call our Warranty department and set up a warranty inspection to look at your clubs.

    Hi Cathi,

How long is the warranty on AP2 712's.  What does the warranty inspection do?  Do they check if the clubs are authentic or just inspect it to see if the paint-fill is a defect from the factory or if the customer caused it.  I bought a set of AP2's and there was no security sticker on the six iron, but all the shafts had serial numbers on the hosel because it had custom shafts.

    Kind regards  = )

If Sugarwood CC is an authorized pro shop, we will bring in his set to check the paint for him.  If the set was purchased outside of our authorized pro shops or retailers, we will not bring in the set unless instructed by our Brand Protection team. The standard Warranty is one year..

Sir 808Hacker, You've done everything you can to authenticate your irons and you know the original specs. Chances are that if they have a nicely engraved serial number on all the irons they are genuine. Chances also are they were reshafted outside of Titleist so they are no longer covered by warranty. The folks at Titleist are incredibly courteous and helpful. I can be a bit more direct. Your previous posts are similar to people I've dealt with who want to get something for nothing. "Oh, the paint on the hosel of one of my irons has a pin sized nick in it! You guys should inspect my set at no charge and redo all the paint or give me new heads." You've  probably bought perfectly good irons. Go out and play some golf with them. If there is a real problem, it will be much better to take care of it yourself so everything is to your liking. With your concerns, one of the best things you can do is find a knowledgeable clubmaker.

What would be wrong with buying fake AP2 712's? They come from the OEM factory in China and the set is like $165.00 - $350.00. Are the heads bad quality or what?

Yes, fake AP2's look and perform really bad.  I saw these off EBAY.

Hi Tate,  If your course is managed by a group, they might have a different billing address and name.  Most golf courses are authorized Titleist accounts.  If you would like to check further, give us a call and we can look it up for you.  1-888-TITLEIST
