  1. are these shafts still offered by titleist.  I have asked a few advanced fitters and called all the local stores and they seem to be clueless on the shaft.  Like they have never heard of the shaft. I have to show one advanced fitter that tthe shaft was on the 2012 summer custom club option manuel.

    Thanks

They are currently still offered but I'm betting it will turn into a while supplies last. Fujikara stopped making that shaft this year. as for why Fitters probably don't know the shaft is because it is a very very rarely used shaft. I know because i own one. when you look at the shaft scale is is one of the lowest launching stiffest shafts they offer. now think about how many people you see at an average fitting that would actually need one. I'm the only one i know of that has that shaft at my course. and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one using a tour spec speeder also. So its one of those things. they and really only stick so many shafts in there fitting boxes and you have to look at what your market is. i would say 90% are in the Stiff or regular market so you try to keep those shafts in your fitting box and let those be the ones you have the most options with. titleist offers something like 50 or so shafts for drivers alone and that's only if you look at one flex option. if you were to carry every shaft in every flex a fitter would have like 2 or 300 shaft on hand. multiply that by like 100-300 dollars a shaft and and you can see how the price of fitting boxes would sky rocket. its just not practical to have. i know it sucks.  but you have two options at this point. either A go to a big time titleist fitter like their ocean side fitting facility or B: have the fitter give you there stiffest lowest ball flight shaft and see what your results are. if your still hitting a high ball with a lot of spin then the 7z08 is for you.

I hope this helped. Cheers fairways and greens

John is right, Fujikura is withdrawing support for this shaft  they have moved on to their Motore series.  We can get this shaft for you while Fujikura still has inventory.
