I heard that the 913 series was going to have the barassars (please excuse spelling) as a stock shaft option after it became very popular last year.  I know Jay Haas began using one and many people here in Greenville rushed to get their own.  So why didn't this become a stock option?  I am in the market for a new driver and want the 913D3 but I really liked that shaft and don't want to deal with an upcharge.

    Thanks,

    Dan C.

Dan C. I could be wrong, but I believe that shaft was a stock shaft on the 910, and the new 913. Maybe Cathi will respond, she will know for sure. I have heard all good, and nothing bad about that shaft. Wish I'd had the chance to try that shaft myself.

Hi Dan,  You are right - the Bassara W is a stock shaft option for all 910 and 913 metalwoods.  You can order it in any 913 metalwood including the 913 D3.  It is a custom order that should take about 3 days to build and ship, and there is no upcharge to order it with that shaft.

How about the new Grafalloy Blue??

Can you please send me a sure-fit sleeve or a Grafalloy Blue 60 X for my 910 D3?
