  1. I am going to switch over to Titleist clubs, from irons to drivers. I play about 6 times a year and shoot in the mid 90's consistantly. Any recommendations on which ones to purchase?  AP1, AP2, Shafts Steel/Graphite , 913 D-2, 913 D-3 drivers? ect ect.

    Thanks in advance

Sight unseen, probably the AP1's irons, but we would recommend seeing a good local fitter.  If you can let us know what city you are in, we can give you the name of our recommended fitter in the area.  Or, give us a call at Team Titleist - 1-888-TITLEIST.

Agree with Cathi - always see a fitter if buying new clubs (even for used clubs, for that matter).    You may find yourself carrying a 7 wood, 24 and 27 hybrids and 6-PW irons.   A putter fitting is also critical too.

I shoot in the mid 80s mainly because my set makeup works for me.  I also shoot  pretty close to par on the exec courses.

I carry 13* draw driver, 910F 19* (A3), 9 wood, 910H 27*, AP1 7-PW (31-36-41-46), Vokeys (54-11 and 60-10 both 1* strong and 64-07 stock) and a 7H putter.    Quite honestly, I would probably barely break 100 if I went with the conventional 1-3-5 wood, 3H, 4-PW, SW-LW, P setup.   I've had some help with fitters optimizing my setup (I have a local San Diego fitter, Jesse at Fairway Golf, that is my go to person; this got started back in 2009 when I constructed a set of irons, some hybrids and fairways and a lob wedge).   I also have mixed flex in the bag (A flex on the driver and 5 wood, regular flex on the 9 wood-hybrid-irons, and wedge flex on the SM4s); My driver and 910s are shortened considerably (44.5" for the driver and -1" for the others).   My irons are -1/2" (except the PW is 35.5") and bent 1/2* upright.  SW is 1/2* upright and LW & XW are 1* upright.  Putter is 35" and 2* upright.

As Bryan said, Joe Willinger over at Windmill Lakes in Ravenna is our recommended fitter in the area along with Trent Maxwell at Windmill Golf Center.  Keep in mind that a fitting day is not the same as an in depth fitting.  It is like having a "quick fit".  If you are looking for an in depth fitting, give Joe or Trent a call.
