My golf shop doesn't have my desired driver configuration in stock, so the salesman has offered to swap the shafts between heads, leaving mismatched serial numbers between the head and hosel.  Is this practice okay?  Will I have issues if warranty work is needed?  They are otherwise a very reputable shop, and ranked one of the best in the country.

I could be wrong, but I believe the serial #'s are independent.  One for the head and one for the shaft.

Hi Mark,  Switching the shafts should be fine.  Just make sure that the bezel weight is the same in both heads.  Then register both serial numbers on your "profile" in Team Titleist.  It is the same as if you purchased an additional shaft for your head.

Thanks, Cathi!  Can you confirm if the "red dot" bezel weight would be standard for the 913D3 / RIP Phenom 70?

Hi Mark,  The red dot 9 gram bezel weight will swingweight out at D5 with the Phenom 70 shaft.
