I've never hit a forged club before, but have heard that they're amazing. I see some competitors have forged wedges, and am curious as to whether the Vokey line will come out with a forged model of its own? I saw Titleist Japan came out with a forged wedge, but at $259, there's just no way I can afford it for a single wedge. I currently use Vokey SM4 PW (46*08), AW/GW (52*08) and LW (60*10). They are all outstanding clubs, don't get me wrong; but I'd like to get my hands on a forged wedge.

Secondly, I'm in the market for a 56* sand wedge. I'm thinking of getting the TVD-M off Wedgeworks. Anyone here have TVD wedges? I can't decide whether to get the bright brushed chrome or black oxide. My 52* has the oil can finish, and after stripping it raw, it looks sweet. Does the black oxide finish strip off? I'm assuming it does, hence the word oxide.

Black Oxide will wear off over time.  It's a great looking club.  The K grind also has a different black finish.

I have a TVD-M 56 and a TVD-M 60. The brushed chrome is slightly shinier than the Tour Chrome finish on the SM4.
