714 AP2 feedback

Has anyone heard of any feedback from the tour professionals who are using the 714 AP'2s?

I heard that several of the guys have already put the 714's in the bag and that at least one switched from MB's to AP2's.  That says something about how good they are.

Hey Bryan, I am not sure if this is true but I have heard the AP1 and AP2 are going to have the satin chrome finish and they will be 1° stronger than the 712's.

Connor,

Connor I.

Connor,

Connor is correct but I think only the 6 or 7 thru W will be 1° strong and the long irons will stay the same. I think the new AP's look sweet!

Thanks for the responses.  Someone switching from the MB to the Ap'2s would say a lot for them.  I can't wait to hear more.

They did win on the PGA tour last weekend at the John Deere Classic.

I know.  They look so sweet.  I'm leaning heavily towards these.  I was fitted for the 712 AP2's and am wondering if these would be the same or will i need to get refitted?

Jason Dufner won with new AP2 prototype irons (714 series) and PXi 6.5 shafts, his 54° SM4 and a TVD K Grind 60.

I see Dufner has a slight leading edge grind on his new 714's too!

Dufner used them pretty well this past week.  His ball striking was amazing.   He was hitting his iron shots so close to the hole - even I could have made those putts.  Great week for Dufner and Titleist.

Hi Bryan, I have gone from 710 AP2's to the 712 MB's and I am planning on heading back to the AP2's once the 714 line is released.  The clubs look terrific

With a couple of PGA wins under the belt for these irons, it appears they are being well accepted.  Can't wait for the release this November to upgrade from the 712 to the 714 AP2s.  To be honest, there was not a whole lot of difference between the 710 and 712 AP2s (in my opinion) but who doesn't like shiny new equipment in their bag!!
