913D2 driver tip

I purchased a 913D2 driver from Golf Town.  It came with a Diamana S+ white 72 shaft.  I had Golf Town remove the head and tip from it, and install it on another exotic shaft (GD Tour AD DI6) that I purchased separately.  I really want to have the ability to use the 913D2 head on both shafts interchangeably, but I need another tip to install it back on the Diamana shaft.

Can I order a tip separately?

Or can I send the Diamana shaft back to Titleist to have a new tip installed on it?

I will pay a reasonable cost but don't think having to buy a new shaft/tip combo at several hundred $ is fair.

Please advise my options.

Thanks.

Cathi can respond, and let you know for sure , but I'm 99% sure you can send the shaft back to Titleist and they will install another tip. You'll probably have to have a Titleist dealer send it in for you.

HI Glenn,  Unfortunately, the Repair department will not retip the shaft if someone has worked on the shaft and we don't sell or distribute the surefit adaptor as a stand alone product.

Thanks for setting me straight  Cathi. I was wrong on this one, and shouldn't be giving my 2 cents worth unless I'm sure of what I'm talking about. I failed to take into consideration the fact that someone else had already worked on Glenn's driver. My apologies Glenn.

my suggestion would be to fined a local PGA club builder in your area and have him install an after market tip kit on your stock shaft.

The cost should around $100.

IMO, its way to much money to spend on a Diamana made for the mass markets like the white or blue board S series shafts.
