2014 Custom Iron Shafts

Does anyone know if the UST Recoil iron shafts will be an option for the 2014 irons?

Phil

The Recoil shafts are another shaft undergoing our shaft testing protocols.  All the flexes and weights have not completed testing yet,

Any update on the Recoil shafts as an option?

At this time, we will probably not offer the Recoil as a custom option or as an "off menu" option.

Just wondering why?  I really think the Recoil shaft is one of the finest graphite shafts I have ever played!!  I think they will really change the way some purists think about graphite shafts....especially as we get older!!

Again, just wondering!!  And maybe you could tell us what graphite shafts will be available?

Thanks so much and God bless, Todd

Will C-Taper Lite Shafts be offered this year?

The C Taper lites can be ordered on your 714 irons.  They are currently an "off menu" shaft.

We have been working with UST to offer these shafts and we will be able to offer two models that have passed our shaft testing protocols as "off menu" shafts.  The Recoil 95 in R, S, X and the Recoil 110 in S and X.  As all "off menu" shafts, we do ask that you don't make any changes or cancellations once the order has been placed.

That's great news the recoil is starting to be noticed by Titleist!

When do you think the Recoil  prototype 125 may be offered? That's what I am waiting for to order the AP2s.

Thanks

Was wondering if there is any new updates if the UST recoil prototype will be offered.

Will I have to order the AP2 714s with a common shaft and then have to reshaft them with what I want?

Thanks

Hi Mike,  The Recoil Prototype 95 and 125 will be added to the matrix and you can place your iron order with them.  Please contact your pro shop for pricing.  It will be an "exotic", which means we will have to order it from UST so the quote time will be 3-4 weeks.  If it comes in sooner, we will build and ship earlier.

Cathi, thanks for the update on the Prototype.

I was fitted today and the Recoil prototype 110 F5 is what was recommended for me.

You mention the 95 and 125 for the protptype in January, are the 110s now available?

Thanks for timely responses.

Mike

Only the standard Recoil 110 can be ordered.

Sorry to be a pest, but that makes no sense to offer the recoil prototype in 95 and 125, but not the 110!

Is the 110 prototype going to go thru the verification process anytime soon, as was done for the others

and then be made available any time soon? I would hate to order anything else if this is going to be offered in

the future.

Thanks again.

Hi Mike,  Any shaft that is offered in our matrix has to go through an extensive shaft testing protocol and that can sometimes take 1-2 months.  With all the shafts that are being submitted daily, they have to pick and choose which shafts they can focus on getting through the testing process.  We have the 110 standard and the Prototype 95 and Prototype 125.  We will probably put the Prototype 110 through the process, but I can't give you a timeline.
