I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.

I was testing drivers both the 910 and the 913, identical Diamana stiff shafts  and my ball speed and club head speed were  higher with the 910 as opposed to the 913.

I was just wondering what is the main difference, if any between the two models ?

Thanks in advance for any  answers provided.

I noticed the same thing when I tried a 913. Played a 910D3 7.5* for about a year with a Bimatrix Proto X shaft and tried an 8.5* 913D3 and I was longer and straighter with my 910. Recently just bumped the 910 out of the bag for another driver, but I do miss that 910 with bright pink shaft.

  3. I noticed a reply to another post about what the tour players are actually using, and Cathy stated Steve Stricker used a 910 all year with a 913 headcover.

From a physics standpoint, I wonder if you have a good scale to see if there is any difference in head weight between the two, since that might affect the velocity reading of the head at impact.  You might have unconsciously tuned your swing timing to the exact "feel" of the 910 length and weight.

Hi,  Steve Stricker went straight from a 909 to a 913 in July and has been playing the 913 for the last half of his great 2013 season. He plays a 913 D3, 8.5 at A1 setting with a Fuji TS 8.2 X flex at 45".

I spent a couple hours last month  comparing my son's 913 with my 910.  Same specs.   I found the same to be true.  I hit my 910 slightly further (2 yds) but the dispersion and club face response felt better with the 913.  (All things equal and confirmed Trackman.)  Not much, but a noticeable difference.

He, on the other hand, found the reverse to be true.  He got better distance and accuracy out of the 913.  Again, not by much.

    I can't explain why.

Experienced the same thing yesterday when comparing the 2.  I had heard that this was happening but had to see it for myself.

I have talked to a lot of people who did not switch.  It's not that the 913 is a bad driver, it's just not that much better if any.
