    Loft & Lie Questions????

Does Titleist manufacture all their iron club heads as standard Loft & Lie.

or do they manufacture various amounts of heads at certain predetermined specs.

Are the clubs build then bent to each golfers specs?

Are the clubs built by picking heads that are made to have certain lofts and lie combinations that are requested by the purchaser?

    Curious,

    Dr, K

As for the standard of the shelf items, yes. However, if you have been professionally fitted, you can order your set to your individual specs. Not too many mid to high handicappers' would consider this, but if you ever wish get better, being properly fit is the only way to go. Mine, for example are 2 degrees upright but the lofts are standard. Professionals will have both loft and lies adjusted to their individual needs.

They are manufactured to a standard loft and lie. They are then bent to meet the customer's requirements.

Hi Dr. K,  We generally bend 2° maximum and on our AP1 and AP2's, offer a 4° upright lie.  For those, we have a 2° upright head made/forged so we are only bending 2°. The lofts are all standard as we only bend lofts up to 2°.

    Thanks for the info!!!

I have an AP2 714 3 iron that is 2° upright that I may have my local club repair shop bend it back to standard loft and lie.
