Does Titleist make junior golf clubs, i am a titleist loyalist and my son would like to have the same clubs as his daddy? He bugged me to buy him the same golf ball as daddy so i bought him his own pro vs and he will not use any other ball because he likes to use the titleist ball that daddy uses, anyhow please let me know, thanks.

Hi Chris,  We don't make "junior" clubs as a separate model.  We would use the same models and heads and build the shats shorter so it would depend on the size of your son.  The shortest driver is 41" and the shortest 6 iron is 35.5".  If those sizes would fit your son,  we have fitting centers around the country that specialize in fitting juniors into Titleist equipment.   Give us a call at 1-888-TITLEIST and we can let you know the closest place for you and your son.

  4. Obviously you want to have the right equipment for your son, depending on his age, size and other factors I like Cathi's idea of being fitted.  I would definitely go to one of the Titleist fitters she recommended.  I have 6 kids and each of them has had a variety of clubs over the years as they have grown up, but I do not believe in having them "grow into" their equipment...find what fits for this season then re-evaluate next season...and so on.  if you have multiple kids sometimes you can pass clubs down etc... We live in Ohio so our season is only part of the year and this makes it easy.  Furthermore, when they were younger we only purchased a few kids then as they got older we expanded each set so they had fuller sets to save money.

    Good Luck!

  5. Hi Cathi,

I am facing a similar situation for my daughter who is on the brink of needing her first adult clubs.

My daughter is currently 59" tall and currently uses the cally XJ series Junior Clubs (Ages 9-12) but will out grow these soon.

She has been playing seriously for over 3 years, so I'm happy to invest in the clubs she wants.

We are based in Buckinghamshire here in the UK, are there custom fit options with regard to shaft etc?

    Kind regards Garry

Hi Garry,  The UK can build to the same specs as we can here, but we would recommend finding a good fitter that can assist you and your daughter as she grows.  I am going to forward your request to our UK office to see if they can let you know the name of someone in your area.

  7. Hi, Cathi (or whoever is the current TCC),
I have a 13yo son who is only 4'11". He plays excellent golf with his USKG clubs. I think his ability is outgrowing his clubs faster than his size. I would love to have some Titleist clubs made for him - but my concern is, everyone talks about cutting clubs down for juniors, but no one discusses the effect that has on the flex point of the shafts. Simply cutting a mens or womens shaft down an inch or two can greatly affect the flex point.
When you talk of Titleist being able to make clubs for juniors - do you take the flex point into account? Or are they simply adult shafts with the butts cut?
We are attending a Titleist Demo Day on April 16 at our club and would love to order a set.
    Thank you
    Paul
