I'm currently gaming the AP1 712 pitching wedge as those are the irons I'm using, but I'm thinking about replacing it with the Vokey SM4 46 degree. Has anyone else done this? What are the major differences between the two clubs?

Thanks to anyone who can help

There is another thread in the last 3 days where the originator lost his PW and is now thinking of using a Vokey. If you can get the Vokey out into grass to try the feel along side the PW, that will tell you if the 46 degree will be worth it. I have had a 48 degree with a stiff steel shaft and I like the feel better than the 45 degree AP1 712 with graphite. But I got the irons after the wedge (it was originally gapped for a previous PW with a 43 degree loft) and got AP1 PW just to get to a 6 club set (5-PW). I probably won't need the resale value, or at least the cost of the PW won't be recovered by having 6 instead of 5 clubs in 5 years (told my wife it would be 10 years...). I can just choke up the 9 iron a little to fill that gap.
