The polymer surrounding the GSS insert on my Studio Style Scotty Cameron Newport has begun to degrade and small pieces look to have fallen out. I just noticed this at the beginning of this season and I'm not sure that it is really impacting my putting at all (maybe just the sound) but I'd like to have it fixed since this has been my go to putter for going on 6 years. I'm wondering how/where I can get this repaired. Thanks!
You can do it easily yourself. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and get some silconized caulk in whichever color you like. Just take a small amount and work it in with your finger. When it dries a little clean the excess. I've done it several times before. The caulk is what Scotty uses.
