I am interested in purchasing a 910 D2 - 9.5* but would like to install a shaft that I already own.  The shaft is an Aldila NVS 65 R, uncut untouched.   I have used this identical shaft in each of my last two drivers and have had wonderful results.  Can I purchase the D@ head and sure-fit hosel and have this shaft installed by my clubfitter, or must I purchase a completed driver and then hae the shaft retro-fitted?

    Any suggestions woudl be appreciated.

I'm assuming that you already have a shaft in your D2? If so, a GOOD club tech should be able to pull the Sure-Fit adapter off and install your NVS. If you don't currently have a shaft in your D2, unfortunately, I doubt that you'll be able to purchase just a head and adapter. Good luck with everything.

    David,

Yes, I have a D2 with factory shaft.  I am trying to see if there is a reasonable wat to have the option of switching between my NVS and the shaft that came installed on the driver. . . . Hoping that Titleist will sell an extra adaptor/hosel so that I can make the switch depending on conditions.

    Thaks for the feedback.

    Hi Lou,

To clarify, we do not offer the SureFit Tour hosel as an individual component. You should be very cautious of any aftermarket hosel being sold for the 910 or 913 products.  These are not distributed from Titleist.  In order to ensure the quality and optimal performance for Titleist products we are only providing SureFit Tour Hosels when installed directly from our facility.  We understand this policy may cause an inconvenience to some customers.  We do offer an industry leading shaft matrix to help our customers get their desired shafts for their 910 and 913 products.

If you have any further concerns about your Titleist products please contact us directly at any time.

Mike - thanks for the info.  At this point, I am pretty satisfied with the Bassara shafts I have on my 910F 19 and 910H 21 and 27 (the two longer clubs are A flex but are 1" shorter than stock and I play at max upright lie angle; the 27 is R flex and I play it  at -1/2" and deciding between C3 and D3).  Believe it or not, I get a pretty penetrating trajectory out of them (surprising for a hi launch shaft) - just like the screamers I used to hit with steel shafted persimmons.

Good luck finding just the head. But, yeah, that's what you have to do.
