Can someone tell me why I should preorder clubs from Titleist? In hand does not mean in hand for all
I preordered the 913 driver that is being shipped directly from Titleist and received nothing on the alleged "in hand date". The same thing happened when I preordered the 712 irons. They showed up days after the alleged in hand date and it looks like the 913 is going to be late Again. So, maybe someone can clue me in on why I should preorder clubs instead is just walking into any golf store and buying on the release date? The only modification I made to this club is a heavier head weight and a multi compound grip. This can't possibly delay shipment. I am disappointed again and done preordering.
I also preordered the 913 3 wood and hybrid. I won't get them on the in hand date but I will get a snazzy brown box with the titleist logo on it.

Hi Jim, If you preordered your club several days before the launch, it might not have made it into the launch group. We started building and shipping preorders to the east coast on November 1st so that they would be there 1 day ahead of the launch and shipped each day after to get the clubs to everyone by the launch date. The driver arrived a few hours after I spoke to you. Today I was pleasantly surprised by what awaited me. I was floored. What made it even more special was that you took the time to enclose a hand written note. My previous clubs were Ping which has very good customer service. But the customer service here at Titleist is a few notches above anything I have encountered.
