Could someone tell me what TVD wedges are? Cameron mentions them in one of the postings and the Vokey sight also mentions them, but I have never heard of them. What are their specs, advantages, characteristics?

modifying clubs even slightly can significantly change the way they are meant to be hit. I would not recommend any changed to the club and you are better off just selling it and getting a new wedge that you need.

Your current wedge can be a 8 - 12 - 14 degree bounce (not specified above)

Vokey 60 are 4 - 7 - 10, moving to 59 would be 3 - 6 - 9

Vokey 58 are 6 - 9 - 12, moving to 59 would be 7 - 10 - 13.

If you're not sure about this, it might be worth a fitting.

You need to order SM4 wedges through a Titleist retailer, but TVD wedges can be ordered from the Vokey site.

Christian's answer is not entirely correct. While he is right that you cannot order directly from Titleist, you can special order your wedge through any Titleist authorized retailer, and they will be able to have the 60 degree wedge bent 1 degree strong to 59 degrees (decreasing bounce 1 degree) at the factory and then shipped to your retailer (and then to you). Unless you order an upcharge shaft or grip there should be no charge for this service. Online retailers such as TGW.com allow for such custom orders, and any local shop that is a Titliest authorized retailer will be able to do this for you as well. Haha cameron after I wrote that I realized I typed incorrectly. Can you order a wedge directly from Titleist like this or do I need to buy it somewhere then send it to Wedgeworks?

You'll have to buy the wedge yourself, and then send it WedgeWorks. Unfortunately Titleist doesn't sell directly to you. Go through a Titleist Rep. though to guarantee it's legitimacy.

My wedge setup is SM c-c 50-08 (bent to 49*) and 54-14, and SM4 60-10 (bent to 59*). Complements an AP1 PW or Eye 2 9 iron. Works in a wide variety of conditions. The SM4 has been my greenside bunker club since last summer. Still hanging on to the SM c-c because they work well for me.

If you strong loft your wedge one degree, you will DECREASE your bounce by one degree (1:1).
