  1. I see the new 712U is a forged club, but it's hollow? How is that possible? Is this the future of titleist "forging"?? I hope this is not a preview of the 714MB forged offerings......please explain how this is a forged club

Hi Tim,  The 712u is a hybrid iron and has a different construction than our classic MB and CB irons.  The body is a single piece forging - hosel, sole and back.  The face insert is then welded to the body.  Our CB and MB irons are one piece solid forgings.

  3. Cathi, great details! Thanks as always!

  4. Thanks Cathi

is this the future of titleist forgings?

I am getting fit on may 11th for some MBs, so it doesnt matter to me. I am just curious what the 714 line will look like and what the future of titleist looks like

    Thanks for the picture

  5. I doubt that MB can do the same as 712U. Im looking forward to try 712U in the future when it comes out!

Double click on the picture and it will bring it up in more detail.   Our product cycle is 2 years and we typically introduce our new irons to our tour players late summer and bring them to market by the end of that year.  We are still in the prototyping stage and will not be releasing any details until we release to tour.
