I recently upgraded all the clubs in my bag - I had been long overdue (about 10 years).  I really loved hitting the 913F at Titleist demo days, at added a 13.5 degree to the big purchase.

However, after only two rounds, I have noticed what seems to be a lot of face wear on the club.  Since it has been so long since I have upgraded clubs, I just wonder - is this normal?  I also purchased a 913D2 at the same time, and after roughly the same number of ball strikes, its face still has a smooth black matte finish.  But the fairway wood seems to be showing lots of spots of bright silver metal instead of a smooth matte.  Has anyone else noticed this with the 913F?
