Is there a difference in the face size between the D2 and D3 or is it just the shape of the head?

The D2 is a 460* head, and the D3 is 445*

Sorry for my bad description of the club face. I just caught my mistake. The D2 is 460cc's (not 460*) and the D3 is 445cc's (not 445*)

Didn't see the specs for surface area, but based on the marketing of the D3 to better players and D2 for more forgiveness, the D2 must have more face surface area (larger sweet spot) as part of the larger overall volume.
