Does anyone know what the 712U 2,3 and 4 distances are proportionally to their irons and hybrids if possible, I am looking to buy one or two of these clubs but have yet to find anywhere to purchase these clubs.

    Any reply is greatly appreciated

These can be ordered through any authorized Titleist retailer.  In terms of distance, they should be very similar to the irons, but may be slightly shorter then the hybrids.  Players looking to add these to their set usually play the MB or CB and prefer the look and feel of an iron over hybrids.

  3. I have the 2 and 4 iron...I just had them made up to the length of my equivalent irons and they work great.  They definitely lauch at a higher angle...Cameron is right though...if you are playing AP2's or AP1's...these may not be a good alternative for you...just a thought...my friends playing MB and CB love them while my friends playing AP2 or AP1 did not find them as great... Good Luck!

I have heard similar comments in relation to the players playing the MB and CB thinking they are a better addition to their set than those playing the AP2.  When fitting for my 714 irons, I hit both the AP2 4-Iron and the 712U 4-Iron on the Trackman and had very similar results as far as distance and dispersion is concerned.  When I compared the sole width and profile of the AP2 to the 712U 4-Iron, they were extremely similar.  However, when I compared the MB and the CB 4-Irons to the 712U 4-Iron there was a big difference.

At the end of the day, I like to have options and do a little tinkering with my setup, so I ordered both the 714 AP2 4-Iron and the 712U 4-Iron so I can compare side to side in real play and see which I like better.  I will follow up with the group once I get the clubs in my bag in a couple of weeks and have an opportunity to get some rounds and time at the range in with both.

Does anyone know if Titleist is coming out with a 714U in 2014? It would make sense for them to do that considering the line of irons are coming out in November.  I don't wanna buy a 712U then see the 714U come out the next week.  This is why I never buy TM

    Hi Lefty,

I play a combo set and went with the 712u 3, little longer and higher ball flight, great driving iron for tight courses also
