My Irons

So I got fitted for the 714 Ap2 irons back in November. With the winter, didn't get to play much or even hit balls. As the weather began to break, we were able to play a little. I have no idea what was going on but I couldn't hit my irons for anything. I actually had the worse round I have had in over 20 years with my new irons that I loved so much at the fitting. I know it was me and being rusty but I was hitting my woods perfect so I began having doubts about my iron choice. I have no idea what clicked but I am happy to say these irons are pure. I hit 13 greens in regulation last round and feel like I could do anything I want with the ball. Now that I fixed whatever was going on, I can say Titleist has something special with these irons. If you haven't tried them do yourself a favor and give them a spin. Thanks Titleist, sorry I ever had doubt.

Thanks for the update, Kelly!  Hope you have great season ahead.

Congrats on the good golfing. Fitting makes all the difference. I just got my AP2s fitted as well; best irons i've ever had. I'll be playing these for a long time.

Fitting is the key.  And it does not hurt having Titleist by your side.  Great clubs.  Love mine also......

I have rust on my AP2s as well and my scores reflect it this winter.....I bought the new ones in November with new shafts which are lighter, XP95 STIFF.   Old shafts were ProjectX 5.5, stiff AP2s.....   Guess, like you I need some homework as well.......shot 79 one day and 90 the next....my scores are all over the index..........I love the clubs, it is the results that have me a bit confused right now and I know I need to work on the tempo and club selection.....that's TEMPO......
