Has anyone heard anything on the new titleist woods set to release... This fall?? I have the 910's and I'm wanting to upgrade when the new ones come out!

I, too, am looking to upgrade to a 915D2 this year and the latest that I have heard is possibly November.  That has been in the past when Titleist released it's new drivers to the public.  The pros usually start playing with them on the tour around July.  Maybe the experts at TT confirm this.   :-)

The Drivers/Fairways are usually on a 2 year cycle... I would expect to see the pro's putting them in the bag mid may-june-july and then likely hitting the public in november or december.  I really hope titleist goes back to the that shiny grey like with the Titleist Titanium and 975 series.   Loved that color scheme.

I would say keep it black on black dont change much just offer a low spin version.

Cheers, greens and fairways to all

It is going to be interesting to see what the response is to the low spin drivers.  Maybe they offer two different models in terms of spin, not just size.

Last year I believe the 714's were given out for the AT&T national in June.   Probably about the same for the 915's I am guessing.

  7. I hope to get fit again at the Oceanside facility again this fall...new woods should be awesome as usual!

I like the black heads as well and hope that they continue that color scheme......

The black color scheme that they have had for several generations just looks plain good, in my opinion.  Excited to see what Titleist has up their sleeve this time around.

I agree 110% John. Keep the new drivers and fairways Black. The black on black shows class and quality. Titleist doesn't need to have a rainbow of different colors to get customers to buy their products. Titleist have by far the best products on the market, and their classic colors show it, and customers know it since Titleist doesn't need a gimmick to sell their products, they have the quality and customer service to sell their products.

I agree on the retention of the black color. I had an earlier 975 model with the grey color, and I much prefer the black. And please do NOT go to white! John H.

Pics of the 915's from Congressional are posted on the net, kind of looks like some competitive drivers.

It'll be hard to top the 913's!  I love my D2.  The looks, sound, feel... Best Titleist driver to date.

My partner plays the 913D2 and loves it and I play the 910D3 and get a lot of enjoyment out of mine, but it is time for a change, I look to go with the 915D2....I hear the mis-hits on the face of the D2s are a little more forgiving.....on bad days I could use a little help.....he get's me on distance at times by about 10+ yards.....he also plays a lighter shaft than I do.....the shaft is the secret to any club.....

Agreed. I've had many Titleist drivers over the years (and other brands), and the 913 D2 is the best i've ever played. Great combination of feel, workability, and distance. One of the best adjustability features as well.

The 915 will be something special building on this foundation I'm sure.

I expect to see a low spin driver like the FD and HD with low forward CG. As far as the color, I hope it stays black. Titleist has always been a traditional company and I don't see that changing. Hopefully!

I'm 110% with you Chris. As they say, "Black is Beautiful". There is nothing classier looking than the 910-913 shiny black body, and flat black face. Best looking drivers on the market, and Titleist doesn't need a rainbow of colors to choose from in order to sell their drivers.

How nice would it be that Team Titleist did a special member testing. Team Titleist members would provide feedback on the product. I think its a good idea

Love my 910 D3 with a Graphite Design AD DI 6s shaft. Will the new 915's have the same shaft connection adapter? I want to continue to use the AD DI shaft which I think is the best on the market. John H.

I can't wait to see the new one's. I really love my 913 so it will be hard to improve but Im sure they can lol. Im really hoping they keep the same tip as the 910 and 913 for the driver though!

I'm really hoping they move to four heads.  The 913s were unfortunately very uncomfortable to look at at address for me..  Four heads would explode Titleist so far past their competitors that none could compete. They would be able to fit a wider range of golfers. Either way, can't wait!!!

I believe that Titleist usually starts seeding around Congressional - which is now the Quicken Loans Tournament.

Talked to our Titleist Sales Rep recently and he said they will get to see them at their meeting in July.  Until that time they know nothing.  Am ready for the Test Outings in the fall.

I agree Chuck, looking forward to the Demo days in the fall!!!  The new A.R.C. technology has me wondering just what they are up to!!!  Ha.

I know I'd be interested in seeing a new Titleist driver similar to the new TM SLDR mini driver that just came out in May. The head is only slightly bigger than the 3-woods and looks more like the traditional wooden drivers. I believe that would be a great addition to the arsenal and maybe allow driver off the deck in more situations.

I keep hearing about the mini driver ......as advertised "it has a deeper face than you traditional 3 wood, allowing for forgiveness off the tee coming in a coming in a 12*, 14*, 16*...their non-traditional 3 wood is nothing more than an old school two wood, coming in three wood and four wood lofts as well........

This technology (SLDR) is not NEW.....I had a driver like the TM SLDR about 3-4 years ago, the Mzno  MP600. I sold it after six weeks and bought a Titleist 913D3....don't get me wrong, Mzno makes excellent clubs, but it was the right change for me.......TM came out in May and I am pretty sure by August the prices will drop and something newer and better will be out........and I will still be playing my Titleist and hitting it in the middle of the fairways......I am NOT against NEW technology, but this is nothing new.........

That was a 910D3 I bought not a 913D3, they had not come out at tha time......my bad........:-)

I thought I saw a picture of the new design somewhere recently. I think that they are being tested on tour as this is usually the time the tour players start to see them. The past few releases have been done in the fall which would probably mean a October or November release. I love the fact that Titleist continues with the traditional look of the clubs. I think the black red and white color scheme is perfect and should not be changed.

The prototypes were introduced to the players at the Congressional.  A couple of sites had pictures of the new 915 with the slot behind the face of the club which is supposed to reduce the spin by about 500 rpm, if I recall correctly.  I like the look of the new driver and I can't wait to be one of the first to be able to demo the new 915D2.  I am stepping up from a 910D3 (10.25) with the possiblity of a lighter shaft.  I am getting older (68) and need a little more forgiveness and trust my my Titleist rep's recommendations.  He is a true professional and good people.......

Can't wait, I couldn't buy the 913 as I have a superstition about anything with 13 in, so the 915's are going straight in the bag, driver and 2 hybrids

Can't wait to try the 915s. I was fitted at the Oceanside facility about 2 months ago not knowing of the new release. I tried the D3 at a 7.5 loft and X Motore and still couldn't bring the spin down under 3,000 on a good shot (most were around 3,500) and it's just killing the distance. At a swing speed of about 128 plus or minus I would love to see a LOW spin version. I'll be off to test the SLDR to compare but I can't stand the way that thing looks... But if it gives me more yards it'll be tough to say no to. I've been a long time Titleist loyalist and love the looks, sound , and feel.

Shoot I still play a 983E and a PT 3 wood. So if testing time comes around and you need a higher swing speed I'm a San Diego local looking to remain a Titleist player.... Just saying ;-)

DC:  It is my understanding the the 915s are supposed to drop the spin rate at least 500 rpms over the 913s.......can't wait to test drive one.......test it with a number of different shafts and you just might achieve you goal....who knows....but we all are anxious....

They have what looks to be a channel on the bottom of the club close to the face, which probably adds more spring effect on shots that are lower on the face.  I can't confirm myself, but I've heard it will also help reduce spin.  The alignment aid was slightly changed which has mixed feedback.  It looks very interesting and I'd like to try it.
