Are the Shafts/connectors interchangeable between Drivers, Fairway Metals, and Hybrids? Want I would like to do is swap shafts between my existing clubs. My son is 14 in the last year he has grown 5" and added 20 lbs. I am trying to put together a combination of clubs to maximize the improvements in his game. Taller, stronger faster club head speed.

    He has been playing a 910 D2 10.5 with a mid to high launch  R 60g shaft and a 910h 27 degree with a mid to high R 60g shaft. I have a 910F with a mid launch S 70g shaft, 910h mid launch R 70g shaft, and a 910h 24 mid launch R 70g shaft.

He is hitting his 910h 27degree  R mid to hi launch really high, it was dialed all the way down to C2. I am thinking about swapping a mid launch 70 g shaft and changing the setting back to neutral.

Can I mix and match shafts between the previously mentioned clubs without damaging anything.

    Thanks

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for the question.

Assuming every club, yours and your sons, is a 910, then yes, the shafts are interchangeable. However, it has to be the same type of club, i.e. a driver adapter will not work in a FWY head.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Bubba,

I appreciate you taking the time to track down an answer for me.

My son and I spent an hour and a half at the range last night swapping hybrid heads and shafts and working with the loft and lie adjustments to "build" a couple of hybrids that he is really happy with.

    Sincerely

    Mark
