Need Advice on a Driver

I am looking for advice on a driver that will give me the forgiveness that I am looking for in the playability that I desire. I was fit into the SLDR 8 degree TP X-Flex the other day but I am not sure that I want to make the commitment. The problem is that I have a lot of spin off the face and I need to cut that down. My ball speed showed was 163. Any advice on a driver that will cut down on my spin. (Custom Shaft Options are okay with me).

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,  Sight unseen, it would be difficult to tell you exactly what combination would work best for you.

As you are relatively close to our Tour facility in Acushnet, MA.  and they still have openings in October for driver fittings, we would recommend going there for a fitting.  The Tour facility has all the shafts that are available and will be able to help you with head and shaft choices to address your spin issues.  They will also be fitting for the 915's at that time.  The cost for a Driver/fairway fitting at Manchester Lane is $200.00.  To get more information or to reserve a time, call us at 1-888-TITLEIST or give Andy a call at 1-888-262-7202.

913d3, sldr is *** in any ways possible.

Cathy, how does one find out about the fitting schedule in MA? Giving serious thought to new irons since my 981s are 13 years old. steve

Probably just call the number Cathy has listed above.

Cathi has given you some sound advise.....think it might help you with your issue........that new 915D is an awesome club....you should check it out........I have played custom builds, png, bstone, TM, cally, and Adms drivers.....I found a new home with Titleist drivers and I love being in the middle of the fairway consistently.......

I'm hitting the Cbra and it reduced my spin down to the point where i had to adjust the loft to 10.5. I'm hitting this driver very far. I also tried the SLDR and didn't like it.
