I'm looking to purchase AP1's with graphite shafts. I am currently playing png G15's with the stock graphite shafts in regular flex.

I'm 59, still athletic, LEFT handed, 14 handicap, 7 iron 150 with high ball flight. I hit the AP1's with KK65 at a spring demo day at our club. I did not know about the 85. A friend of mine has the AP1 with a lightweight steel shaft. I hit them beautifully but I moved to graphite because of a tendency for elbow and finger pain.

I have an issue with my current Pngs feeling light. This summer I put some Golfsmith 20g butt weights in and they felt better. I have an old set of steel shaft irons I use a lot to warm up with, or just gab and make a few practice swings with after gabbing a new tip off the Golf Channel ;) The swings with these feel so much better, smoother. I think because I don't lose track of the club.

Here is my issue. My club has the Titeist fitting bag, but no left hand heads. They have asked the rep a couple of times, but no luck. I would really like to try the KK85. I feel the KK85 or similar would address the joint pain issue while giving me the feel, confidence, and results I was getting with my friends ultralite steel shafts.

I am at least a 2-2 1/2 hour drive from a major market, but my club is listed on the Titleist site as a fitting center with the bag.

Should I just wait for the next demo day nearby? Do they usually have the KK85 at demo days or possibly one similar?

    I would appreciate some guidance.

    BTW, the AP1's felt great.

    Thanks,

    Craig
