I have played ProjectX 5.5s and my new clubs are XP95s and I like both shafts.....my playing partner played PX 6.0 and changed to KBS and he loves them, but the bottom line is we went to a fitter to find out which was best for our game.......I appreciate that you ask for our opinion, but go to a professional and get properly fitted....good luck and I know you will be happy with the results because both the AP1s and AP2s are super irons......keep us informed

They are all great shafts but each has a different "personality", I would pick the one that feels the best...to me it would be the KBS Tour  90 however for you it may be a different one... Just a thought!

I like the feel of the Project X95 Flighted, in 5.5 of the 3 shafts. However during my fitting I had the best results with the True Temper XP95, in R300.

I am with the others, definitely see a professional fitter, you will be happy you did. Worth the money, since the clubs are an investment. My first fitting was in 1999, and have had the last fitting for irons in2008 for the ap1's when they first came out, also both fittings had my club at 2 degrees up. First clubs fitted were 981 SL Titleist .

I recently did a good fitting for irons and went with AP1 with the X95 shaft in a regular flex.  We spent a good three hours hitting over two days and getting all the data we could before finally coming up with that choice.  Most of the decision was mine to make, but I fully trusted the Titleist rep and my local pro, who is a Titleist staffer.  No complaints from me after having my new irons for a few months and hitting them three to four times a week.  Still getting distances down, but no complaints at all.  I give the X95 golf shafts a good review and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for good quality.
