Starting today, I will be starting to save up some $$$ for a big purchase before the year is out. Here is how it will work: Every dollar I withdraw from one of my accounts on the first day of October and on Halloween, or receive exchanging rolls of coins at the bank, or receive as a gift, or with help from my mother, will be placed into an envelope that will be hidden under lock and key where only I will be able to access it. On the day I make the big purchase, I will take the envelope full of cash out of the hidden lock box. Then I will make this big purchase. I am hoping to get me either a Titleist stand bag or cart bag and a new Scotty Cameron putter (preferably one that is counterbalanced). By the time the next golf season begins, I hope to have found new employment that with the money I make will allow me to switch from having a driver and fairway woods of different brands to the new Titleist 915 driver and fairway woods. I am hoping to get me a driver with 10.5* of loft and with one of the standard shafts in regular flex, along with 3, 4 and/or 5 in fairway woods, also with one of the standard shafts in regular flex. Also, I am willing to permanently retire my 1 iron and put either one fairway wood or one wedge in the bag on a permanent basis. (As much as I have enjoyed playing a 1 iron, I think that after playing it for five seasons, the time is right to permanently retire the 1 iron.)
