I plan on ordering a 915F 16.5* fwy with the Rogue Black 70S 1/2" under standard length (42.5"). My question is would there be any special tipping instruction I need to include with my order to ensure the shaft plays true to flex with this set up?

    Hi Jon,

No, you do not need to include any additional tipping information when you place your order. Our standard tipping on that shaft is 1" so no additional tipping would be necessary.

    Thanks

  3. Hi Will, I noticed your reply to the gentleman's inquiry above and have a very similar, if not exact, question. Is the standard Titleist tipping 1" for the Aldila Rogue Silver in 915F as well? I love my new 915D3 with the Rogue Silver so much, I want to match it with a 915F 15 degree. I know that Aldila recommends the 1" tipping for this shaft in fairways and wanted to make sure this comes standard before I order the club. Thanks for your time! Best of luck.

    Hi Brian,

Thank you for the question. The standard tipping for the Rogue Silver in the 15* fairway wood is 1/2". The Rogue Silver in the driver is not tipped at all. I would recommend hitting the Rogue Silver in fairway wood first before any additional tipping.

    Thanks

  5. Thanks Will, I just ordered the 915F 15 degree with the Rogue Silver 70x in the standard specs from Titleist to match my 915D3 Rogue Silver 60x. Another question: I play standard lengths. Swing speed with woods is 110. I was considering ordering a 915F 18 degree with a Motore Speeder VC 8.2 Tour. I like my driver and 3 wood to play similar for consistency off tees, but I hit my 5 wood into par 5 greens more often than from tees. What is the standard tipping from Titleist on this shaft for a 5 wood? Considering the specs in my driver and 3 wood along with my swing numbers, what would you recommend? (Again, given the proper fitting is ideal) Thanks for the help!

Brian, the Speeder VC 8.2 Tour Spec is tipped 1.5" total in the 18* 915F. You are correct that a proper fitting is the only way to know for sure if that shaft will be a good option. My only concern is how stiff the tip is on that shaft. Since this a club you like to hit in to Par 5's you would need enough spin to hold the green. On paper the Silver 70X will launch and spin a little more than the Speeder VC 8.2 Tour Spec.

    Thanks

    Will
