Looking at ordering  set of 714 MB's with Titleist NS Pro 105T shafts at 1/4" under standard length. What would the swingweight come out to be and would it be possible to get a D1 swingweiight with this shaft at 1/4" under?

Jon, One quarter inch short will only reduce the swingweight 1.5 points from standard D-2 leaving you with a SW at just over D-0 if you have a standard weight grip (around 45-55 grams) and the Nippon shaft is not balanced a little more towards the tip or the butt end. The most important part is to make sure your desired swingweight is indicated on the special order. With most steel shafts, Titleist can build the irons to right on or very close to what you ask for so the feel you want is consistent through the set.

    Jon,

With those specs and standard grip the heaviest swing weight we would be able to achieve is going to be around C8.

    Thanks
