I love my 712 ap2's with pxi shafts.  Wasn't even thinking about upgrading them.  They are so good, I had heard that even the Titleist pro's said "just don't mess them up" when titleist was going to release the newest version, the 714's.  I had planned to keep my 712's for a while and just upgrade all my 913's to the 915's.  Then I actually hit the 714 ap2's with pxi shafts, the exact setup as my 712's.  Not only did Titleist not "mess them up" but they actually made them better.  I could actually tell a difference!  It wasn't just a face lift with a different color badge.  So not only do they look better they actually perform better.  If anyone wasn't sure about upgrading from the 712's to the 714's I would highly recommend it.  You won't be disappointed, at least I wasn't.  Needless to say 714's are in my bag right now and the 915's will be shortly!  I'm just sorry that I waited so long to upgrade, now I am just going to have to look at them sitting in my bag all pretty until next season.  Winter stinks!  One thing I love about Titleist, they don't release new items just to put something new out there.  Their new release actually perform better.  Great job Team Titleist!  Can't wait tell spring!

They do feel better and perform better. I have both sets as well and love my 714s, but just be aware (it took me a while to notice) that the 714 is 1* stronger. But in Titleist's defense, the other club manufacturers seem to have made theirs MUCH stronger long ago and those others are still WAY stronger.

I like their release dates in November, because we get to actually play with them here in the South and when the tournament season starts in the spring we are somewhat ready with our new clubs.  Living in the lowcountry of South Carolina and on the coast by choice.
