    2 Issues

Firstly, I have my 913 D3 ordered & am excited to get it in asap! While cruising the Titleist website I noticed that there are no X-Stiff stock shaft options for any of the fairway woods/hybrids. I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on that issue for me & how I would go about ordering them with one of the standard stock options just in X-Stiff. The only X-Stiff options are in "custom options" does that mean just to get an X-Stiff option in a 3 wood I have to pay the exotic up-charge? It is quite confusing manoeuvring through all the options on the website.

Secondly, I'm trying to get some information on the difference between the F & FD models. In previus years the FD was a much deeper face with the weight in the sole of the club much closer to the face to promote a lower ball-flight. Is that the same deal with the 915 line? Or have they made the FD model a smaller head with more workability?

    Regards,

    Jordan

If I recall correctly, I believe the Titleist fitter said that the heads are smaller on the "d"s on fairways and hybrids.....

Workable and forgiving, the 915Fd provides versatility and shot control from the tee and turf. The compact profile delivers slightly lower launch and spin versus F, with no draw bias.

Hi Jordan, thank you for your questions. You can order the 915 fairways and hybrids with any of the stock shafts in the X-Stiff flex. Your local pro shop or retail store would place this as a custom order. It is not exotic or an upcharge, just built through custom. You are correct that the 915 Fd is smaller than the 915 F model. The Fd is the compact profile head that delivers slightly lower launch and spin versus F.
