I did ..... So happy i did too .  I had the Futura X  prior to the Futura X5.

When i demoed the Futura X it in the shop it was OK ..... The first time I took it to the course just looking down at it in the daylight was distracting . With that being said since I purchased the Futura X5 I am completely satisfied .  I see this putter in my bag for years to come .   The hardest part of the purchase was deciding between the X5 or the X5R .

I have also purchased the X5, i am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and this putter is the best yet, i have 6 Scotty's and love them all, this is by far my favorite to date. I bought it the day it came out as i have seen it used on tour for a while now. You will not be dissapointed i can assure. Like the other post the hardest will be deciding between the X5 and X5R, i just preferred the lines on the X5, not a huge fan of the rounded versions, and the grip is awesome, again i have the MidSlim 2.0 SuperStroke on all my others but won't be changing this one for the foreseeable future! hope this helps!

I was putting with this very putter today at the local PGA Superstore - this was my first try of the Futura X5 - and all I can say is wow!  I really loved the way the club felt in my hands and how incredibly smooth I was able to roll the ball.  I'm really hoping Santa was taking note!

I bought the X5R. Its a great face balanced putter. I just don't like a bigger grip. It will be removed soon.

Hoping to get an x5 as a Christmas present.  Fingers crossed! Felt great at golf Galaxy and if I get it I can get rid of my versa 7.  Dislike cally very much.

I bought one  after having used a Newport model forever I switched as this is very easy to align and not being able to practice a lot better for me to use.i really like new grip as well good job Scotty!

Great looks to go along with the great feel. I preferred th x5 and not the r. As with any Scotty, u can't go wrong with either one.

Thanks for all the imput......It's great to hear all the positives about this putter....I ordered the Futura X5 with the 35" shaft....hope to have it by the end of the year...we always get nice days during the winter here in North Carolina so I will be putting it into play as soon as possible...

I am getting a H-14 Futura X5 so I am excited to roll it upon receipt this week!  Titleist shows it as being shipped...cant wait!

I will say that it has a different feel and look than the Futura X etc.. regardless they are all awesome!  I have been playing with a Futura X and Futura X DB...they both are quickly some of my favorites as is the prior mallet model Golo and Kombi's...
