    Hi all

I trying to learn a how things fit  together .

I don't  specify a swing weight , let fall  were it may.

    1.  What is the swing weight AP1 , Kuro Kage  65 R flex  , shaft length +.5 , lie   +3* up . and  golf pride TOUR WRAP® 2G  standard size?

    2. Is it easier adjust the swing weight when the clubs are built?

    3. My understanding is a way to  measure how light or heavy the club fells to swing?

From my under standing 1 or 2 point in   swing weight is not  noticeable.

    Best Regards

    Mike

I know they can maintain the "standard" swing weight, w/ -0.5" I would think they would make the adjustment to keep it the same for you at  +0.5 with you grip.  Shaft weight, head weight... I think

Hi Mike,  AP1 with Kurokage shafts 1/2" long, 3 up and a Tour Wrap 2G std grip would swingweight out at D4 +/-1.  We would recommend having your fitter specify an exact swingweight at the time the order is placed.  The only way to manipulate swingweight after the clubs have been built is through length and grip.  It is easier to specify it on the order.  1 swingweight is not noticeable - some players can tell the difference in two swingweights.  We would recommend asking your fitter for  a recommendation on swingweight.

    Hi Cathi,

Thank you , My fitter did  recommend a swing weight of D3 .  I was think I wanted some thing the that lighter like a D1

He did get me 2 mph more with a D3.  I just now beginning  to understand how grip selection can have an important impact .

I will get  with the  fitter , now that I  understand it i something I need to specify ( fitter already knew).

I would have been expecting  a D1(the  default ap1 swing weight) ,  might  have been happy or disappointed  not realizing how my choice could affect the outcome .

    Thank you

    Best Regards

    Hi Mike

Do talk with your fitter to see if he/she thinks an even lighter swingweight such as D1 could be of benefit to you.  We can use lighter heads and build at D1.  But, we can only do this if it is specified on the order when the order is being placed.

Thank you  for all your help

I order the with the  specification provided by the fitter.  He explained where he saw the benefits with the  specification.

I have had a lesson with my coach (who recommend the fitter)  in looking at the club face , it shows i 'm hitting  out of  the center of  the face. The tempo is better and easier to maintain. The accuracy is great.

The biggest  surprise was the  48* wedge and pitch wedge , It  much easier  to hit  my target  (15 to 30 yards) and the checkup is great.

My mishit are  going in the right direction and ending in nearly same distance. In the end if I'm putting its a great hit !

With no charge for built clubs to fit your swing (components may have extra charges) , having a set of clubs that works for me has made golfing  much more enjoyable.

    Best Regard

    Mike
