I'm just wondering what the difference is between the 915f 15 degree set open to 16.5 the A4 setting vs the 915f 16.5 degree in the standard A1 setting? I know that the 915f 15 degree is 5 cc's larger but other than that would they play any different?  Also which one has most people picked for their bag (15 vs 16.5)?

    Thanks

    Hi Brad,

    Thanks for the post.

The 15F at A-4 would actually have a closed club face to achieve the effective loft of 16.5, while the 16.5 at A-1 would have a square club face. It really comes down to player preference at address. It is tough to predict how each would perform, so my recommendation would be to try both out with a local fitter.

    Hope this helps.

I have a 15F as well and have it set at 14.25  I use it mainly on short tight par fours instead of my driver or maybe dogleg lefts because it draws nicely.  The fairway club is a good club, but I prefer the new 915h to the fairway which I have set at 17.25, because it carries almost as far as the fairway club and with more consistency off the shortgrass and definitely an asset in the rough.  That hot hybrid is great to have when I want to add one other hybrid a 910 20.5 and need to take something out of the bag.  Out goes the fairway.
