Just hit my 915 D3 for the first time at the range. It is 9.5, standard length with rogue 60 stiff shaft set to a draw setting (D3). I hit the club consistently with a straight or slide fade ball flight. I am used to hitting straight to slight draw ball flight with my old driver. The weight distribution with my old driver seems to be a little heavier in the head compared to my current 915 D3 (D3 swing weight), however I am not sure of the swing weight of my previous driver. I was wondering if going to the 14 gram weight in the head and giving it a heavier feel would promote more of a draw bias?

Thank you for your question. The bezel weight is used for swing weighting purposes only. A heavier bezel weight will give you a higher swing weight. The heavier weight does not make the club more "draw biased". That being said, I do believe that there is a correct swing weight for every player that allows them to square the club face easier. I would suggest working with your local PGA Professional to find out if you need a heavier swing weight for your driver.

    Thanks

Will: I sure am glad that this question came up. One of the guys at the course asked me the same question Saturday and I told him that I thought that I generated more height by adding swing weight. If this is the case I need to move up at least one swing weight on my 913s and 915s.......maybe two.....I notice that when I hit a nice high ball it carries nicely.......actually longer.....by the way thanks.... :-)
  4. Chris, you could go to a golf store and have them swing weight your old club vs. the new one.  Just an idea...I have a swingweight machine at my house, they are not very expensive to purchase as well.

I agree though, swingweight is everything if you are a feel player!

    Good Luck!
